@Clint - Your point is a valid one but I think most (including me) will be cautious to provide this type of info just to protect themselves from any liability.

As I'm not an attorney, my "version" would be purely subjective and it may or not be accurate.

If I misinterpret this info in my own business, I will be liable. However, I don't want to take on the added liability that might come as a result of misleading someone else.

Sorry to side-step your request, but I'm just being honest.

Looking at the report myself, I think the best information can be found in the "Examples" they've given. I found the "legal ease" somewhat confusing but their examples do help to clarify things (for me, at least).

Best,
Kevin

@Eric - Thanks for the heads-up on your service!

I hadn't heard of "HeySpread" before but I will definitely visit your site and give it a look.

From your short description, your service looks promising.

Take care,
Kevin

Hi, I am the Marketing Director at HeySpread.
That is true, Tubemogul is a great service.

But you should also have a look at HeySpread for Professional Video Analytics and Video Distribution – http://heyspread.com. Far cheaper, with exclusive features such as YouClone (copy/paste your YouTube videos to any other platform automatically and in one shot), powerful and user-friendly interface, REST API for an easy and fast white label integration.

@Paul -- I wouldn't go so far as to say that Matt Callen "encouraged" people to submit "Splogs" but I will agree that the contest probably added a bunch of them to the network as a direct result.

Now, having said that, I don't agree with you at all in regards to whether or not members will have their content "indexed." Sure, some of the syndication sites may produce zero results but if content is being placed on a blog that is still in the good graces of the SEs, the content will still be found/indexed.

The only true test is to submit content and test results. Anything else is pure speculation.

@Alex -- Yeah, I have experience with both SEO Hosting and Reseller Hosting (in addition to standard hosting hosting plans).

Most Reseller Hosting Plans and SEO Hosting Plans utilize the "WHM" Control Panel and do require you to set up "Packages" and "Accounts" inside your WHM Control Panel.

If you are going to be using all of the available IPs for yourself, then you can just set up one "Package" and then use it for all of your IPs. Basically, you can just evenly divide your "resources" between the number of IPs for your account.

For example... let's say you had a total of 100 Megabytes of disk space and you were allotted ten IPs. You could use "10 Mb" for the disk space value when setting up the "Package" such that each IP would get the same space allottment.

If, however, you are going to be reselling hosting and offering different "plans," then you may want to set up more than one "Package" variation. (I know this is somewhat confusing to explain but I am hoping this helps)

As far as Class C IPs are concerned, it is the Class C value that is most important. So, if the third set of numbers (the Class C values) are all different, you should be just fine.

Example: XXX.XXX.456.XXX -- XXX.XXX.323.XXX have unique Class C values and it won't matter if the A, B and D class are all alike.

Best wishes,
Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Do you are any of the other readers have any experience with Class-C IP's? I have Arranged for 10 Class C + 10 IP's + DNS with a company. However the IP's only have the C-class number changing. All the other numbers are the same. Is this okay or is there something wrong...it's a shared hosting account by the way.
Thanks in advance.
Alex
P.S. As a Baby Boomer, I found a real lack of instructions, to help me set up Packages, Accounts. I'm still working through it all, slowly.

My article network is filled with splogs. This was encouraged by Matt Callen the owner when he ran a contest offering the person that connected the most splogs a free membership. This was addressed by Matt Cutts on his latest video from word camp.

Mr Cutts stated that these splogs are so easy to find due to the laziness of the sploger. They all say "just another wordpress blog" in the header. And confirmed by no updated theme.

Therefore members of my article network are posting content that will never be indexed. Mr Callen will pull down several months of fee's before the member realizes he has been duped.

@Brian -- Thanks for your kind words!

While I can't say for certain, you are probably referring to Tube Mogul, which is a free video submitter.

I don't have any first-hand experience with Tube Mogul, but it certainly couldn't hurt to give it a spin before investing in another tool.

Looking at Tube Mogul's site, I think they currently submit to 15 video directory sites but I could be wrong about that.

You can learn more about Tube Mogul here:
http://www.tubemogul.com/

If you use their service, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it and I'm sure it would be appreciated by my readers as well.

Best,
Kevin
